I find it incredibly rewarding to facilitate a child's first experiences with academic and social success.  There is nothing more motivating than seeing the genuine enthusiasm a child shows when they achieve a new milestone or develop a sense of self-reliance.
I have taught in Alaska as the lead preschool teacher and got my CDA. Florida as the lead preschool teacher. North Dakota as an aide for a child care center. Homeschooled my twins. Then back to Alaska as a substitute for Our Lady of the Valley Catholic School. After moving back home to Alaska while my husband was stationed overseas my children and I wanted to be closer to family and moved to Oregon in July of 2022. I started at St. Joseph in August of 2022 as a substitute, then was the lead Pre-k teacher for a year, and then went back to substituting and being an aide.
